C. Randal Mullett
C. Randal (Randy) Mullett is Vice President, Government Relations and Public Affairs, for Con-way Inc. As Con-way's senior policy manager and executive representative in Washington, D.C., Mr. Mullett is responsible for the company's relationships with national business and trade associations, as well as federal legislative and regulatory advocacy efforts on homeland security, business sustainability, freight transportation and other policy issues important to the enterprise and its employees. He also spearheads the company's program promoting sustainable business practices at Con-way and in freight transportation.
Mr. Mullett has led Con-way's government relations program since 2002, previously serving in a number of field operations and management roles for the company, including 14 years as a service center manager. He is a frequent speaker at legislative commission and regulatory policy development conferences and is a respected voice within the transportation and supply chain management communities.
A native of Berryville, Va., he holds a bachelor's degree from Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, W.V., and an MBA from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va.

Paul Berg
Paul Berg is a 29-year veteran of the transportation industry currently serving as director of operations for Con-way Freight. In the role, he is responsible for the overall operations of 13 service centers in eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. More than 900 employees service 4,000 customers daily out of this network, which includes one of the company’s largest facilities in Hagerstown, Md. — the main consolidation point of freight movement between the Northeast, Southeast and Southwestern United States.
Since joining Con-way Freight in 1986, Berg has held several management positions in Cleveland, Philadelphia and in the Quad Cities. He was promoted to his current role in 1993. Prior to his work with Con-way Freight, Berg spent five years with McLean Trucking where he held sales and management positions in Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Iowa and Illinois.
Berg has been an active member of the Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association (PMTA) since 1997, and continues to serve on the board of directors of the Philadelphia/Delaware Valley chapter. He ended his term as board president for the chapter in May 2010. Berg holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University Bloomington.
Jim Burnley
Jim Burnley, a partner in the Washington office of Venable LLP, is widely recognized as one of the nation's foremost authorities on transportation law and policy. He served as the U.S. Secretary of Transportation (1987-1989) and as Deputy Secretary of Transportation (1983-1987) under President Ronald Reagan. He also served as General Counsel of the Department.
Burnley maintains a visible presence in the transportation community and is engaged in the continuing debate over transportation policy issues. He has served as an advisor to Republican Presidential candidates in five of the last six campaigns. He was Chairman of the Port Study Panel of the National Chamber of Commerce Foundation. He is also a member of the Business Advisory Committee of the Transportation Center at Northwestern University. Additionally, he served for five years as Vice Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Virginia Port Authority.
In private practice for the last twenty years, his clients have covered the entire spectrum of transportation issues and interests. For example, he played a key role on behalf of the airline industry in the successful effort immediately after 9/11 to have legislation enacted to save it from completely collapsing.
He received his B.A. from Yale University and his J.D. from Harvard Law School.
Dale Duncan
Con-way Freight driver Dale Duncan is based out of Con-way Freight’s San Diego service center.
He has taken part in 11 California Trucking Driving Championships and has won his division nine times. Duncan was named the 2009 Grand Champion at the National Truck Driving Championships, an honor he also received in 2006. He will defend his title at this year’s national competition, taking place in Columbus, Ohio, in August.
Duncan joined Con-way Freight in 1990 and has driven professionally for 27 years. He was previously honored by the company for achieving one million miles of accident-free driving. In his spare time, Duncan is a private pilot and enjoys working on muscle cars.
Lt. Col. David M. ("Duke") Ellington
Lt. Colonel David M. (Duke) Ellington (ret.) is a 30-year military veteran who served as a logistics officer in the U.S. Army and the Indiana National Guard. He also served as executive director of the Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), Indiana Chapter, a national advocacy organization which facilitates collaboration between employers and all branches of the active military and reserves. He is currently a personnel supervisor for Con-way Freight’s Indianapolis service center and participates actively in the company’s recruiting, hiring, training and support programs for veterans.
Saul Gonzalez
As vice president of operations for Con-way Truckload, Saul Gonzalez is responsible for the transport carrier and logistics relations with Mexican carriers and freight forwarders at the United States/Mexico border, CFI Logistica based in Guadalajara, Mexico, and regional transport sales. With over 15 years of service with Con-way Truckload, he has been actively involved in strategic planning, sales and operations.
Gonzalez began his career in the transportation industry over 25 years ago, working with Danny Herman Trucking as a sales manager in El Paso, Texas. After relocating to Laredo, Texas, as the director of sales, he joined Con-way Truckload in 1991 as the sales and operations manager. During his tenure at Con-way Truckload, he has been located in Joplin, Missouri, and Guadalajara, Mexico, as director of sales and later as vice president-Mexican Carrier Relations.
Gonzalez attended the University of Texas at El Paso. He is based out of Con-way Truckload’s headquarters in Joplin, Mo.
Bill Graves
Bill Graves is President and CEO of American Trucking Associations (ATA), the national trade and safety organization of the United States trucking industry. Through its 50 affiliated state trucking associations, conferences and other organizations, it represents motor carriers before all branches of the government.
Prior to joining ATA in January 2003, Graves served as Governor of Kansas from 1995-2003.
Gov. Graves earned a degree in Business Administration from Kansas Wesleyan University in his hometown of Salina, Kansas and attended graduate school at the University of Kansas.
Mitch Greenberg
President, SmartTruck
With more than two decades of experience in the transportation industry, Mitch Greenberg is an expert in heavy truck emissions performance programs. As president of SmartTruck, a new manufacturer of aerodynamic products for the trucking industry, he is focused on bringing the next-generation of aerodynamic products to the trucking industry. Prior to joining SmartTruck, Greenberg developed and managed the Environmental Protection Agency’s SmartWaySM Transport Program, focusing on all aspects of reducing fuel consumption and GHG emissions from trucks and goods movement.
Harry J. Haney
Harry J. Haney, III has been with Kraft Foods, Inc over 25 years and has worked in the distribution and transportation functions in roles of increasing responsibility, both in field and corporate locations. He has extensive experience in Private and Dedicated Fleet Management with Kraft and is also the current Treasurer and a past Chairman of the Board of the National Private Truck Council.
Harry is currently responsible for transportation strategy, planning, and leads the Logistics Operations Environmental Sustainability team. He is Chairman of the Coalition for Transportation Productivity, a coalition of shippers and related industry associations advocating an increase in gross vehicle weights on interstate highways. Harry holds a bachelor’s degree in Transportation and Logistics from Ohio State University and an MBA from Eastern Illinois University.
Mary Collins Holcomb, PhD
Mary Collins Holcomb is Associate Professor of Logistics and Transportation at The University of Tennessee. Dr. Holcomb was also a member of the faculty in Transportation and Logistics at Iowa State University, Ames. She holds B.S., MBA, and Ph.D. degrees from The University of Tennessee.
Her professional career involved some eighteen years at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in transportation research and policy issues for the U.S. Departments of Energy, Transportation, and Defense. Dr. Holcomb’s background also consists of various industry experience with the former Burlington Northern Railroad, General Motors, Milliken & Company, and two years of collaborative research with Procter & Gamble.
She is a principal researcher in one of the longest running annual studies – Logistics and Supply Chain Trends and Issues – that has been conducted for more than 14 years. Dr. Holcomb is the former editor of the Transportation Energy Data Book, author and co-author of numerous reports and articles in the area of transportation policy and logistics systems design.
Diane Katz
Diane Katz, who has analyzed and written on public policy issues for more than two decades, is a research fellow in regulatory policy at The Heritage Foundation.
A veteran journalist and policy analyst from Detroit, Katz joined Heritage’s Thomas A. Roe Institute for Economic Policy Studies in August 2010.
She previously was director of risk, environment and energy policy for three years at the Fraser Institute, an independent policy research and educational organization in Canada. From 2002 to 2008, she was director of science, environment and technology for the Mackinac Center for Public Policy, a free market think tank in Midland, Mich.
Michael Koploy
Michael Koploy is an ERP Analyst at Software Advice, a free online resource for software buyers in numerous enterprise software industries, including ERP, medical, retail, construction, and supply chain management. He is one of the writers on the Software Advice Blog, where he investigates the intersection of logistics, supply chain management, and retail trends from both the business- and consumer-perspective. Colonel Randall Larsen
Founding Director, The Institute for Homeland Security
Colonel Randall Larsen, USAF (Ret), is the founding Director of The Institute for Homeland Security and the National Security Advisor to the Center for Biosecurity, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He previously served as the Chairman of the Department of Military Strategy and Operations at the National War College, where in 1999 he created the nation's first graduate course in homeland security. A member of the Council of Foreign Relations, he is a published author, lecturer and recognized authority on homeland security issues, having served as an expert witness to the Senate Armed Services, Senate Judiciary, House Government Reform, House Homeland Security, and House Budget Committees.
His publications include: Our Own Worst Enemy: Asking the Right Questions About Security to Protect You, Your Family, and America (September 2007), The Executive's Desk Book on Corporate Risks and Response for Homeland Security (March 2003), and Defending the American Homeland 1993-2003 (December 2003). His op-eds have appeared in the Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, New York Post, and USA Today. Colonel Larsen served in both the Army and Air Force for a combined total of 32 years of military service, including deployment with the 101st Airborne Division, where he flew 400 combat missions in Vietnam.
David May
David May, a driver-sales representative for Con-way Freight, has been a professional truck driver for 28 years and has over 1.4 million miles of accident-free driving. He is actively involved as an advocate for the industry and since 2005 has served as a Captain on the America’s Road Team Captain, an ATA-sponsored group of professional drivers who serve as industry ambassadors and speak regularly at school and civic events nationwide about sharing the road safely. He is a six-time New York state truck driving champion, was the 2002 New York State Grand Champion, New York’s 2007 Driver of the Year, and has been honored by the New York State Legislature for his professional accomplishments. He also has been a frequent contributor to industry and government councils, regulatory policy-making hearings and conferences. He joined Con-way in 1997 is currently a city driver out of the company’s Buffalo service center. He lives with his wife of 23 years in Tonawanda, NY.
David L. Miller
David L. (Dave) Miller is a respected industry expert and an authoritative voice for effective, common-sense government and business policies that enable the freight transportation industry to fulfill its critical role in the nation's economy.
As a senior counselor to public and private companies and advocacy groups, Mr. Miller draws on nearly 35 years of experience working in policy development and strategy, and as an operations executive in the trucking industry, the last 27 of which were with national trucking and global logistics company Con-way Inc., where he recently retired as senior vice president, global policy and economic sustainability, responsible for the company's legislative, regulatory, public policy and corporate sustainability efforts.
He is a frequent speaker at industry forums and a regular contributor to research, hearings and working groups with a focus on transportation related State and Federal legislative safety, security, regulatory and policy issues. Specialty areas of his practice include legislative, rule and regulatory compliance advice; advocacy program development and representation; freight operations management best practices, analysis and recommendations; and support for issues management, customer outreach and business development programs.
Among his professional affiliations, Mr. Miller has been a member of the American Trucking Associations' Cross-Border Operations Policy Committee and its Highway Policy Committee. He also sits on the Board of Directors of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, serving on the Board's policy committees for Environment & Energy and Regulatory Affairs, and as a member of the Chamber's National Security and Emergency Preparedness Department, he serves as the Global Supply Chain Working Group's Chair. Mr. Miller also is a member of the Transportation Research Board's (TRB) Trucking Industry Research Committee.
A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mr. Miller attended the University of Cincinnati. He is a graduate of the executive management program at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
Anthony Oliverio
Senior Director, Menlo Worldwide Logistics
As Menlo’s senior director of operations strategy, Oliverio is responsible for companywide initiatives that improve operational performance and industry competitiveness. In this capacity he has initiated, designed and led implementation for corporate initiatives such as Menlo’s Global Lean Strategy, Sustainability Program, Business Intelligence Project and standardized work programs for business processes, warehousing and transportation groups.
Since joining Menlo in 1999 as senior logistics manager for the high-tech group, Oliverio has held several leadership positions requiring progressively increasing responsibility in operations management for the retail, high-tech and manufacturing sectors. His responsibilities leading up to his current position have also included roles as director of operations, southeast regional director for warehousing and lite manufacturing, and senior director responsible for all North American logistics operations.
Prior to joining Menlo Worldwide Logistics, Oliverio served as warehouse operations manager and director of regional distribution operations for FedEx Supply Chain Services, formerly Caliber Logistics, and in various logistics and distribution roles with Nordstrom, Inc.
Dan Pence
Dan Pence spent 40 years in the trucking business, the last 25 with Con-way Freight in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he retired as region manager. A former U.S. Marine, he has long advocated for improved collaboration between employers and the armed services to promote training, education and career assistance for returning soldiers to reintegrate them into civilian life. When he’s not helping service members and employers get connected, he spends time with his wife and family on their farm outside of Indianapolis.
Robert G. Petrancosta
Vice President, Safety - Con-way Freight
Mr. Petrancosta brings 40 years of transportation experience and demonstrated leadership skills to the Con-way organization. He is responsible for all Safety and Compliance issues for the entire Con-way Freight organization.
Mr. Petrancosta began his career with Con-way in 1988 as a Driver Sales Representative for Con-way Central Express (CCX) in Aurora, IL. Shortly thereafter, he was promoted to the position of Freight Operations Supervisor, and in the fall of 1992, was promoted to Safety Supervisor in Buffalo, NY. Less than one year later, Bob took the position of Service Center Manager at the Iron Mountain, MI service center, before being promoted to the position of Director of Safety for CCX, which he held for five years. In 1998, he was promoted to Director of Safety and Environmental Compliance for all of Con-way Freight and in 2007, he became the Vice President, Safety of Con-way Freight.
Mr. Petrancosta attended Waubonsee College, Sugar Grove, IL, majoring in Hazardous Materials Technology. He has been an active member of several American Trucking Association Committees including the Hazardous Materials Committee (Chair), the Safety Policy Committee, the Hours of Service Subcommittee, the Occupational Safety & Health Committee, the Regulations Committee (Chair), the National Truck Driving Championships Committee and has been appointed by the Administrator of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration for two terms on the Motor Carrier Safety Advisory Committee. Bob was awarded the ATA Safety and Loss Prevention Management Council’s 2006 Leadership Award.
Mr. Petrancosta is also a 2005 recipient of the prestigious Raymond F. O’Brien Award of Excellence, an honor conferred upon exceptional employees by the then – CNF organization for leadership and professional accomplishment. Today, the tradition of the O’Brien award is carried on in the Con-way organization as the Con-way CEO Constellation Award.
He is based at Con-way Freight’s headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Robert Poole
Searle Freedom Trust Transportation Fellow and Director of Transportation Policy
Reason Foundation
Robert Poole is director of transportation policy and Searle Freedom Trust Transportation Fellow at Reason Foundation, the free market think tank. A recognized transportation policy expert, Mr. Poole has advised the previous four presidential administrations on transportation and policy issues. In the field of surface transportation, he has advised the Federal Highway Administration, the Federal Transit Administration, the White House Office of Policy Development, National Economic Council, Government Accountability Office and state DOTs in numerous states.
He is a member of the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation’s Critical Infrastructure Council, an advisor to the American Legislative Exchange Council's Trade & Transportation Task Force, and a member of the board of the Public-Private Ventures division of American Road and Transportation Builders Association. From 2003 to 2005, he was a member of the Transportation Research Board’s special committee on the long-term viability of the fuel tax for highway finance. He has testified as an expert witness before various House and Senate subcommittees on issues of national importance for aviation and surface transportation.
Mr. Poole has written hundreds of articles, papers, and policy studies on privatization and transportation issues. His popular writings have appeared in national newspapers, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Forbes, and numerous other publications. He has also been a guest on network television programs such as Good Morning America, NBC's Nightly News, ABC's World News Tonight, and the CBS Evening News.
Mr. Poole earned his B.S. and M.S. in mechanical engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and did graduate work in operations research at New York University. He founded the Reason Foundation in 1978, serving as its president and CEO until 2000.
Darrin Roth
Darrin Roth is Director of Highway Operations with the American Trucking Associations. (ATA) He serves as the primary staff liaison to ATA’s Highway Policy Committee.
Among his professional affiliations, Roth is a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Transportation Committee. Roth also serves on the Transportation Research Board’s (TRB) committees on Urban Freight Transportation and Motor Vehicle Size and Weight. He is the principal ATA liaison to the American Association of State Highway and Transportation officials (AASHTO), the American Highway Users Alliance (AHUA) and the Freight Stakeholders Coalition.
Roth received a B.A. in Political Science from The American University and did postgraduate studies in Public Administration at George Washington University.
Colonel Ron Replogle
Colonel Replogle has been a member of the Missouri State Highway Patrol since 1984.
He served 10 years as a road officer in Troop D Springfield, where he was promoted to zone corporal and zone sergeant. He was also assigned as a criminal investigator/polygraph examiner in Troop D for three years in the Division of Drug and Crime Control (DDCC). In 1996 he was promoted to Lieutenant and transferred to the Patrol’s General Headquarters in Jefferson City, where he served for three years as the assistant director of the Professional Standards Division. In 1999 he transferred back to DDCC serving as an assistant director, before being promoted to Captain and director on September 1, 2001. He was promoted to Major on September 1, 2006, and placed in Command of the Criminal Investigation Bureau.
On March 1, 2010, Governor Jay Nixon appointed Colonel Replogle as the Superintendent of the Missouri State Highway Patrol. He is a 1994 graduate of the National Training Center of Polygraph Science where he received the “Green Hippo” award for the top polygraphist in his class. He is also a 1999 graduate of the Northwestern University Traffic Institute’s School of Police Staff and Command.
He has been married to his wife, Cindy, for 30 years. They are the proud parents of two grown sons and a daughter-in-law.
Randall Scheps
Randall Scheps joined Alcoa in 2006 as the marketing director for Alcoa’s Ground Transportation Market Sector, which comprises automotive, truck, trailer, bus and rail products. In this role, he has accountability for coordinating Alcoa’s marketing approach to the global ground transportation markets, which are served by nine Alcoa business units.
Ground transportation is a $4 billion global segment for Alcoa and is at the forefront of Alcoa’s efforts to promote sustainability and the sustainable attributes of its products. Scheps also serves as the chairman of the Aluminum Association’s Auto and Light Truck Group.
Scheps has 13 years of automotive experience with Ford Motor Company and Visteon in a variety of chassis related product engineering, strategic planning and manufacturing management positions in Michigan, Germany and Mexico.
He is a native Texan and holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as a master’s degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Herb Schmidt
As president of Con-way Truckload (formerly CFI), Herb Schmidt oversees the day-to-day operations of the company, including sales and marketing, operations, recruiting, finance, safety, information technology and fleet maintenance. Mr. Schmidt began his career in the transportation industry with United Parcel Service in operations and industrial engineering. He joined CFI in 1984 as the director of safety. During his tenure at CFI, he gained experience in the positions of vice president of administration, vice president of safety, senior vice president of operations, and senior vice president of sales and marketing. In 2000, the Board of Directors appointed him president, promoting him from the position of senior vice president of sales and marketing. In 2005, the Board of Directors appointed him chief executive officer.
With more than 25 years in the trucking industry, Mr. Schmidt is a respected leader in his field, lending his expertise and leadership to the American Trucking Association Tort Reform and Insurance Task Force and the Missouri State Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. He is the former president of the Truckload Carriers Association Safety Council and has served 11 years as the chairman of the Professional Truck Driving Institute of America, an independent body that certifies professional driving schools throughout the country.
Mr. Schmidt is based out of Con-way Truckload's headquarters in Joplin, Mo.
John A. Simourian
John A. Simourian is Chairman of Needham, Mass.-based Lily Transportation Corp., which opened for business in 1958 and today provides dedicated contract carriage systems and services for customers throughout the United States.
Mr. Simourian founded Lily Transportation shortly after his graduation from Harvard University and the Harvard Business School, where he also captained the school’s baseball team and was its starting quarterback. He is a U.S. Navy veteran, having served two years of active duty as a Lieutenant and six years as a Reserve officer. His professional and business affiliations have included service as a past board member and chairman of Nationalease and The Truck Renting and Leasing Association.
Mr. Simourian also is a lifelong Red Sox fan and fervently believes that the 2010 season will bring another American League pennant and World Series Championship to the Red Sox Nation.
Douglas W. Stotlar
President and Chief Executive Officer,
Con-way Inc.
Doug Stotlar is president and chief executive officer of Con-way Inc. He was named to his current position in April 2005.
He previously served as president and chief executive officer of Con-Way Transportation Services, Inc., the parent company’s largest business unit, which in 2006 became Con-way Freight. Appointed to this position in 2004, he was responsible for the day-to-day management and long-term strategic planning for a network of regional trucking operations spanning the United States, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico. He also directed the company’s non-asset based business units, Con-Way NOW, Con-Way Logistics, and Con-Way Air.
He was previously executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Con-way group of companies, and earlier was executive vice president of operations for Con-way’s regional carriers. Prior to joining the corporate staff, in 1996 Mr. Stotlar wrote the business plan and launched Con-way NOW, a time-sensitive expedited freight carrier, serving as its founding vice president and general manager.
He joined the Con-way organization in 1985 as a freight operations supervisor and subsequently advanced to management posts in Columbus, Ohio; Fort Wayne, Ind.; and Milwaukee, Wis., where he was named northwest regional manager for 12 service centers.
A native of Newbury, Ohio, Mr. Stotlar earned his bachelor’s degree in transportation and logistics from Ohio State University. He serves as vice president at large and is a member of the executive committee of the American Trucking Associations, as well as a member of the board of directors for the American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI). Mr. Stotlar also serves on the board of directors for URS Corporation, a San Francisco-based global engineering and design services firm.
Peter Swan, PhD
Dr. Swan is an Assistant Professor of Logistics and Operations Management at Penn State Harrisburg. He has been a member of the Penn State faculty since 1998. Dr. Swan began his career in the railroad industry working for CSX in operations, marketing, and information systems. After ten years in the railroad industry he returned to college for his Ph.D. in Operations Management from the University of Michigan.
At the University of Michigan, Dr. Swan was active in the Trucking Industry Program, where he participated in both the Driver Survey and the LTL Case Study. Dr. Swan's research involves productivity, operations, and transportation markets. He co-authored a recent paper in the Journal of Business Logistics, “Cutting Logistics Costs with Ocean Carrier Selection” and has a co-authored paper forthcoming in Public Works Management & Policy titled, “Empirical Evidence of Toll Road Traffic Diversion: How Truckers Respond to Pricing.” Ongoing research is focusing on the safety effects of such diversions.
Dr. Swan chaired the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Standing Committee for Freight Transportation Economics and Regulation (2002-2008) and is a member of the TRB Trucking Industry Research Committee and the TRB Committee for Short Line and Regional Railroads. Starting in April 2010 he will chair the TRB Freight Systems Group.
Rep. Fred Upton
Fred Upton has represented the commonsense, Midwestern values of his southwest Michigan district for the last 24 years. Prior to his election to Congress, Fred worked for President Reagan in the Office of Management and Budget. In Congress, Fred is a senior member of the powerful House Energy and Commerce Committee and serves as top Republican on the Energy and Environment Subcommittee. Fred has been a leader in the fight against the job-killing cap-and-trade scheme. Fred strongly supports an “all of the above” approach with a greater emphasis on domestic exploration, clean coal technologies, emissions-free nuclear power and increased conservation through advanced technologies.
Tim Walberg
Tim Walberg is a Republican candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in Michigan's 7th District. Tim served from 2007-2008 in the U.S. House. Prior to serving in Congress, Tim was a division manager in higher education, a member of the Michigan House of Representatives, president of the Warren Reuther Center for Education and Community Impact, and a Pastor. He attended Western Illinois University, Moody Bible Institute, Taylor University and Wheaton College Graduate School, earning his B.S. and M.A. degrees. Of all of Tim's accomplishments, he is most proud of his family. Tim and his wife Sue have been married for 35 years. They live in Tipton where they raised their three now-adult children Matthew, Heidi, and Caleb. Matthew and his wife Erin blessed Tim and Sue with their pride and joy, grandchildren Micah and Claire.

Chelsea C. White holds the Schneider National Chair of Transportation and Logistics at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he is the Director of the Trucking Industry Program and the former Executive Director of The Logistics Institute. He is a director for Con-way, Inc. (NYSE: CNW) and a former member of the World Economic Forum trade facilitation council. His research is currently concerned with the impact of information technology on international freight distribution, security, and productivity.
